Whether you are reading for yourself or a friend, the art of tarot reading can be fun, powerful, and insightful. This introductory 4-hour class will explore all 78 cards of the tarot. We will go over the cards’ upright and reversed meanings and practice throwing spreads. Think of it as a “drinking from the firehose” experience! All students will walk out with my Tarot 101 zine, which is based on over 20 years of study and practice, and the ability to start reading tarot regularly right off the bat! Please note these teachings are based on the Smith-Rider-Waite deck, and that is what we will cover in class. There are many decks that are fun variations on the Smith-Rider-Waite, so don’t feel obligated to get the classic version if you find a different one that really speaks to you. There are decks available to buy at Ritualcravt if you need one.
